When you call me (or any lawyer for that matter) for advice, please be completely honest. The truth has a way of coming out regardless and if you haven't been completely truthful not only will you make the job of the attorney harder but you very likely will hurt your case. Sometimes the effects of what you think might hurt your case can be minimized or even eliminated if your attorney knows about it up front.

When you call me, feel free to ask questions. The only "dumb" question is the one you don't think you should ask. A good lawyer should never be upset by your questions.

Don't be embarrassed. An honorable attorney is not going to be judging you. He or she will only be focused on trying to help you.
